Knitwear Sales Account Manager

The Company:

An exciting opportunity for an experienced knitwear Sales Account Manager to join a reputable and established supplier of apparel Knitwear to high street retailers.

The Role:

• Maintaining and establishing relationships with both factories and customers.
• Presenting and selling company products and services to current and potential clients.
• Bringing in new accounts both internationally and in the UK.
• Range development with customers and factories for new seasons.
• Managing the critical path so key deadlines are met.
• Liaising with Far East, ensuring all feedback is provided to the relevant departments.
• Identify and resolve client concerns.
• Participate in marketing events such as trade shows.
• Negotiation of sales/cost prices, lead times and delivery dates with retailers and factories, pushing on margins.
• Competitor shopping and trend research.
• Attending fit sessions and regular meetings.

Skills Required:

• Experience of selling apparel/ Knitwear products to high street retailers
• Must have a proven sales background gained within a similar role working with UK retailers/ multiples.
• Strong new business and negotiation skills.
• Exceptional communication and organisational skills.
• Critical path knowledge.
• Experience of liaising with Far East.
• Passionate about products with a friendly and professional approach to work.
• Proven ability to bring new ideas to the table and be involved with the development of the business.
• Able to travel as and when needed.
