Your Role as a Media ECT

• Plan and deliver engaging Media Studies lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.


• Teach digital production, advertising, film analysis, and journalism.


• Support students in practical projects, including video production and social media content creation.


• Collaborate with your mentor and the wider department, participating in ongoing training and CPD.


• Lead extracurricular activities, such as film clubs, radio production, and media competitions.

What We Are Looking For

• A Media Studies graduate with QTS (or working towards it).


• A strong interest in digital storytelling, film analysis, and multimedia production.


• A teacher who can make media engaging, relevant, and interactive.
