Are you a Teaching Assistant with SEN experience looking for a long-term role in a primary school?

Tradewind Recruitment are working with a primary school in Bexley who are looking for a KS1 SEN Teaching Assistant to join them ASAP.

You will support pupils within a KS1 classroom, providing additional help to children who need support with their learning, communication, behaviour or emotional regulation.

The school are looking for someone who is patient, consistent and able to build strong relationships with children.

What you'll be doing:

Providing 1:1 and small-group support

Helping pupils access the KS1 curriculum

Supporting reading, writing and maths

Helping pupils manage behaviour and emotions

Encouraging pupils to become more independent

Working closely with the class teacher and SEN team

Supporting classroom routines and activities

You will ideally have:

Previous experience working with children

Experience supporting children with SEN

Primary school experience

A calm and patient approach

Good communication skills

The ability to build positive relationships with pupils

Experience with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language needs or other additional needs would be particularly useful.

The role offers:

£95-£110 per day

Long-term position

ASAP start

Full-time
