An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and dedicated Year 2 Teacher to join a thriving and inclusive Primary School in Lincoln. This is a fixed-term role starting ASAP, with an initial 6-week contract that will be extended until the end of the academic year. Interviews will be held next Monday, so early applications are encouraged.

About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated teacher to join the Year 2 team and play an active role in shaping positive outcomes for pupils.

As a Year 2 Teacher, You will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching in line with the KS1 national curriculum, while fostering a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment. You will work closely with colleagues, parents, and the wider community to ensure all children achieve their potential academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key responsibilities include:

• Plan and deliver high-quality lessons tailored for Year 2 pupils


• Supporting and challenging pupils of all abilities to achieve their full potential


• Fostering a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment


• Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community


• Contributing to the school’s ethos of high expectations and inclusion
