We are seeking a dedicated and passionate KS1 Teacher for a good-rated, 2-form entry school located in Newham, starting after the February half term 2025. This is a full-time position. KS1 Teacher Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of KS1 students.


• Create a safe, positive, and stimulating classroom environment that fosters a love of learning.


• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and setting clear targets for development.


• Support students in developing their independent learning skills and encourage them to take responsibility for their learning.


• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to curriculum planning and delivery.


• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, keeping them updated on student progress and addressing any concerns.


• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school activities as required.

KS1 Teacher Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.


• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.


• Experience teaching in Key Stage 1.


• Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and effective assessment methods.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to adapt teaching to meet diverse learning needs.


• A team-oriented approach with a commitment to creating an inclusive classroom environment.


• Commitment to professional development and continuous improvement in teaching practices.
