Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated KS1 Teacher looking for your next long-term opportunity in a welcoming North London primary school?

Tradewind Recruitment is working with a number of friendly and inclusive primary schools in the Tufnell Park area that are looking to appoint passionate Key Stage 1 Teachers for full-time, long-term roles starting in September 2026. These positions offer the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.

The Role

As a KS1 Teacher, you will:

Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum

Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating learning environment

Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils

Assess, monitor and report on pupil progress effectively

Foster excellent behaviour and positive relationships within the classroom

Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and support staff to achieve the best outcomes for pupils

Contribute to the wider life of the school

Essential Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Have recent experience teaching within Key Stage 1 in UK primary schools

Hold an Enhanced DBS Certificate on the Update Service

Be available to work Monday to Friday (5 days per week)

Be flexible to travel to schools across both Islington and Hackney boroughs

Have excellent classroom and behaviour management skills

Be passionate about delivering high-quality teaching and learning

Be committed to working collaboratively as part of a school team
