Your Role as a KS1 Teacher

• Plan and deliver engaging and creative lessons tailored to Key Stage 1 pupils.


• Foster a supportive and stimulating classroom environment where children feel confident and valued.


• Monitor and assess student progress, providing targeted support and feedback.


• Encourage children to develop strong early literacy and numeracy skills through engaging activities.


• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff to support each child’s learning journey.


• Participate in staff meetings, training, and whole-school initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.


• Experience teaching in Key Stage 1.


• A strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and effective teaching strategies.


• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.


• A passion for inclusive education and supporting young learners.


• Commitment to ongoing professional development.
