Working alongside experienced teachers, you will play an important role in supporting pupils both inside and outside the classroom, helping to build their confidence, develop key skills, and foster a lifelong love of learning.
The Role
As a KS1 Teaching Assistant, you will:
Support pupils across Key Stage 1 in whole-class lessons Deliver one-to-one and small group interventions Help develop children's literacy, numeracy and communication skills Encourage positive behaviour and active engagement in learning Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff to create an inclusive learning environmentAbout You
The successful candidate will:
Have a genuine passion for working with primary-aged children Be enthusiastic, caring and patient Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills Be confident working as part of a team Be committed to supporting children's learning and wellbeing Have previous school or childcare experience (desirable but not essential)Applications are welcomed from both experienced Teaching Assistants and graduates considering a future career in teaching.
