KS1 Teaching Assistant - Get Hired Fast

Your new companyHays Recruitment are proud to be working in partnership with an Ofsted rated "Outstanding" Primary School in the Huyton area as they require a motivated and reliable Teaching Assistant to cover Key Stage 1. This is a full-time contract lasting until the end of the academic year. Your new roleIn your new role as a Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant you will be working across the EYFS and year 1 and 2 classes. You will work under the instruction of class teachers to promote an inclusive and accessible learning environment and use your initiative to effectively manage the classroom and behaviours. You will utilise all learning equipment available and identify when students may be struggling with work and offer intervention and booster sessions in core subjects as required on a 1:1 and group basis. You will also support pupils with SEN (ADHD, dyslexia, and ADD). Other duties will include phonics and read write ink. What you'll need to succeedTo be considered for this role you need full "Right to Work" in the UK as well as a minimum of 40 days referenceable experience working with children in the last 2 years, as well as:

• The ability to work towards the key stage 1 curriculum
• The ability to take a person-centred approach to learning
