We're working on behalf of a brilliant special school in the Shepton Mallet area that are on the lookout for a SEN Teacher to join the team from September leading a KS2 class of MLD (Moderate Learning Difficulties) students.

The school look after a wide range of special needs & disabilities and are very well respected in the local community. They really are a wonderful school, I've only ever had positive feedback from candidates that have worked there.

The role

The class has 10 students with Moderate Learning Difficulties where you will be very well supported by 3 experienced LSA's that know the class well.

The class is well settled and will be a lovely environment to walk into! Due to the needs of the students it is important you have had experience with SEN/MLD in the past. In terms of necessary qualifications etc. the school are open to a range of applications; so whether you're an HLTA/Unqualified Teacher looking for a role with more responsibility or a SEN teacher looking for a new environment - please apply!
