KS2 SEN Teaching Assistant, Camden

Location: North London
Start Date: September 2026
Hours: 8:30am - 4:00pm, Monday to Friday
Contract: Full-Time, Term Time Only

A friendly and inclusive primary school in Camden is looking to appoint a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support three pupils with mild learning needs. All pupils are independent learners who access the mainstream curriculum and remain in class throughout the school day.

The successful candidate will provide targeted academic support, help pupils remain engaged in lessons, and work closely with the class teacher to ensure each child achieves their full potential.

The ideal candidate will:

Have previous experience supporting pupils with SEN.
Be confident delivering small-group and one-to-one interventions.
Have strong literacy and numeracy skills.
Be patient, positive, and encouraging.
Work effectively as part of a team.This is a rewarding role for someone who enjoys helping pupils build confidence and make excellent academic progress.
