Reed Education are working with a vibrant school based in Thornton Heath who are looking to secure a KS2 Class Teacher for September. This role is crucial in maintaining and enhancing our school's ethos, ensuring all pupils benefit from a high-quality education, and contributing to the education service more broadly. • Maintain and contribute to the school's ethos and uphold its values and aims.
• Plan and deliver curriculum lessons according to current school policies, ensuring high standards and expectations are met.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of learning activities to ensure all pupils become enthusiastic, independent learners.
• Collaborate with the Academy Trust and other stakeholders to implement a shared vision and strategic plan.
• Use data to monitor pupil progress, support educational attainment, and ensure targets are met.
• Engage in school events and extra-curricular activities, promoting the school's vision and creating a sense of purpose and pride.
• Manage professional relationships effectively and commit to your own continuous professional development.
• Implement equal opportunities and promote the welfare and safeguarding of all pupils.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a Graduate Degree.
• Experience or a significant track record as a teacher, preferably in a school of similar ethnic/social diversity.
• Thorough knowledge of the relevant Key Stages and curricular issues.
• Excellent literacy and numeracy skills.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
