£130 - £180 per day depending on experience and qualifications

Premier Education is currently partnering with a number of welcoming and supportive primary schools across Wigan who are looking to appoint Key Stage 2 Teachers throughout September 2026 and the new academic year.

This is a fantastic opportunity for Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to broaden their experience, as well as experienced teachers seeking flexible work or their next long-term role. We work with schools across Wigan and the surrounding areas, including Leigh, Atherton, Hindley, Standish, Golborne, Ashton-in-Makerfield, Tyldesley, Shevington and Orrell.

The Opportunities

Year 3, Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6 teaching roles
Day-to-day supply, short-term and long-term placements
Full-time and part-time positions

The Ideal Candidate

UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching within Key Stage 2
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Passion for creating engaging learning opportunities
Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents
Enthusiastic, committed and adaptable approach to teachingApplications are welcomed from both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced teachers looking for flexible, long-term or permanent opportunities.
