Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a welcoming and well-established primary school in the Vale of Glamorgan to recruit a dedicated KS2 Teacher for a full-time maternity cover position. This is an excellent opportunity for an ECT to gain valuable classroom experience, build confidence in a supportive environment, and make a lasting impact on pupils during an important stage of their educational journey.

The Role

Take full responsibility for a KS2 class, delivering engaging and inspiring lessons across the curriculum.
Create a positive learning environment that encourages confidence, independence, and academic progress.
Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with Curriculum for Wales expectations.
Monitor pupil achievement and provide targeted support where required.
Work collaboratively with experienced teachers and support staff to deliver high-quality learning experiences.

Holds QTS.
Passionate about helping KS2 pupils succeed both academically and personally.
Confident in managing classroom behaviour and building positive relationships.
Committed to delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
Eager to develop professionally and contribute to the wider school community.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
