Full-Time KS2 Teaching Assistant - Iver

We are currently seeking a dedicated full-time KS2 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and oversubscribed primary school located in the picturesque village of Iver, Buckinghamshire.

The school is looking for enthusiastic and experienced individuals who are passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). The school has a specialist SEND Unit for children with Autism (ASD), so experience working with ASD in a primary setting-or in any role involving SEND, ADHD, or ASD-is essential.

The ideal candidate will be calm, patient, and proactive, with a genuine desire to make a difference in the classroom. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates or teaching assistants who aspire to train as teachers in the future, as the school is committed to developing future educators.

As a KS2 Teaching Assistant, your role will include:

• Bringing at least one year of experience supporting children with SEND in a school, childcare, or care setting.

• Assisting children with emotional and behavioural challenges to help them access the curriculum.

• Showing a high level of care, commitment, and ambition for every student's success.

• Providing 1:1 or small group support and delivering engaging, tailored activities.

What We're Looking For:

• Energetic, patient, and confident classroom management.

• Availability to work full-time from 08:30 to 16:00, Monday to Friday.

• Recent experience working with children in a school or similar UK-based setting.

• A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development.

• Willingness to obtain (or already hold) a Child Only Enhanced DBS.

• Based in Iver or within a reasonable commuting distance.
