Part-Time KS2 Teaching Assistant Required - Carnforth

Starting Immediately | Monday to Friday | 8:30am - 12:30pm

Veritas Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS2 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Carnforth. This is a part-time position starting immediately, providing support to pupils across Key Stage 2 during the morning sessions.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of English and Maths at KS2 level and be confident supporting pupils with their learning, both independently and in small groups.

The Role:

Supporting teaching and learning across KS2
Working with small groups and individual pupils
Delivering targeted English and Maths interventions
Helping pupils to stay engaged and make progress
Assisting the class teacher with classroom activities and preparationThe Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Experience working with primary-aged children
Good knowledge of the KS2 curriculum, particularly English and Maths
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A positive, proactive and nurturing approach
Relevant Teaching Assistant qualifications are desirable but not essentialWhat We Offer:
