This company lead the industry. They are looking to add a permanent member to their R&D team after the previous incumbent has retired after many years with the business.

In this role you will carry out tests on newly developed products to assess their fit for purpose. The day job will be taking these newly developed products, testing their composition to ensure it's fit for testing, then subjecting samples to both chemical and mechanical testing. There will be a large record keeping in this position as well as some MS Office work - spreadsheets, data manipulation, SharePoint etc.

The ideal candidate will have an experience within a Lab Environment, have an analytical mindset, and be computer literate. Candidates must be commutable to the Lathom area on a daily basis, have full right to work and remain in the UK, and have good communication skills (verbal and written).

*Recording findings, data, and spotting anomalies in testing
