Laboratory Technician (Asphalt)

Location: UK (Site Based)
Salary: £28,000 - £29,500 per annum

Are you an experienced Laboratory Technician with a background in asphalt testing? We're recruiting on behalf of a leading UK materials manufacturer for a Laboratory Technician to join their established technical team.

The Role:

You'll play a key role in ensuring products meet the highest quality standards through laboratory and site-based testing.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Carrying out quality control and end-performance testing on asphalt, ready-mix concrete, mortars, screeds and aggregates.

* Performing laboratory testing in accordance with British, European and UKAS standards.

* Accurately recording, analysing and maintaining test results.

* Supporting the development and improvement of products.

* Assisting with site testing and providing technical support when required.

* Maintaining a safe, organised laboratory environment and ensuring all Health & Safety procedures are followed.

Requirements:

We're particularly interested in candidates with previous asphalt laboratory and testing experience.

You'll ideally have:

* Previous experience working as a Laboratory Technician within the asphalt industry.

* Knowledge of asphalt testing methods and quality control procedures.

* A good understanding of British and European testing standards.

* Strong attention to detail and excellent record-keeping skills.

* Competent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Microsoft Excel.

* A full UK Driving Licence (essential).

Salary & Benefits:
