About You

We’re looking for a dynamic and hands-on Lab Technician with a strong background in textile testing.

* Previous experience working within a UKAS-accredited environment

* Practical experience carrying out textile testing - tensile, tear, abrasion, colourfastness, pilling and flammability

* Strong attention to detail and accuracy

* A methodical approach to laboratory work

* A genuine interest in textiles and testing

About The Role

Working within a specialist textile laboratory, you’ll be responsible for carrying out a range of physical and performance testing on textile materials, ensuring results are accurate, reliable and completed to the required standards.

You’ll be working closely with an experienced team and using state-of-the-art laboratory equipment.

Your Line Manager brings over 30 years’ experience within the business, while your immediate team mate has been with the company for 20+ years, giving you the opportunity to learn from an incredibly knowledgeable team.
