Laboratory Analyst Grade 2

Required skills and experience:

• Science‑based qualification (e.g. Chemistry or related discipline) or relevant industry experience in a similar laboratory role.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Adaptable and flexible approach to work within a dynamic laboratory setting.
• Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining quality standards.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Key activities:

• Conduct routine laboratory testing and analysis in line with approved methods and procedures. 
• Prepare samples, reagents, and standards accurately while following laboratory protocols. 
• Operate laboratory equipment safely and report any faults, deviations, or non-conformances. 
• Record and maintain accurate test results, laboratory records, and documentation. 
• Support the preparation of technical results and reports for review. 
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe laboratory environment in accordance with QHSE requirements. 
• Comply with quality systems, accreditation standards, and laboratory procedures. 
• Report hazards, incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions promptly. 
• Assist with continuous improvement activities and routine laboratory projects. 
• Participate in training and competency development to enhance technical skills. 
• Work collaboratively to meet turnaround times, quality standards, and customer expectations. 
• Demonstrate a professional and positive approach in all interactions.
