Laboratory Technician

SRG are delighted to again be partnered with one of Scotland's most innovative and exciting drug discovery start-up companies based in the West End of Glasgow. We are supporting this cutting-edge organisation in their search for two new laboratory technicians to support in their state of the art laboratories.

The Role

As a laboratory technician you will have a wide reaching range of responsibilities including but not limited to;

• Preparation of laboratory solutions
• Management of stock for the laboratory
• Ensuring lab cleanliness & sterility
• Equipment Calibration

The Right Candidate

This role is an excellent opportunity for a graduate or someone with limited laboratory experience to join a rapidly growing company with excellent potential for growth and career progression. The list of criteria to be considered is below

• HND or above in a scientific discipline related to chemistry (Degree preferable)
• Hands-on experience with analytical chemistry techniques
• Knowledge of laboratory health & safety
• Experience in an industrial laboratory is desirable but not essential
