Laboratory Technician

Job Description

Are you looking to gain some experience in an Analytical Laboratory? Are you a graduate of Chemistry/ Experienced Lab Tech?

A leading and successful provider of analytical testing and Environmental services are currently seeking a Laboratory Technicians to join the team in their environmental testing Lab in Derbyshire, on a temp to perm basis. Ideal for Graduates of Chemistry, or related disciplines, but also open to particularly motivated candidates without a relevant degree, looking to begin a career in the Lab.

Role Overview
Receipt and Analysis of Samples using a range of Analytical Techniques.
Ensure all work is conducted in line with relevant regulations and standards such as UKAS ISO17025, GLP.
Temporary to permanent, Full-time role (Tues- Sat 11:00-19:30)

Requirements
A Degree or equivalent in a Chemistry related discipline is highly beneficial but not essential.
Experience in Analytical Chemistry, particularly environmental samples such as Soil and Water is highly advantageous.
Must be highly motivated, with great attention to detail and problem-solving capability, excellent communication skills and a strong appreciation for the principles of quality and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
Must be immediately available to begin.
