Location: Bradford
Pay Rate: £13.07 per hour / £26,500 per year
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 6:00am–2:30pm; Friday, 6:00am–11:40am
Contract: Temporary with a view to permanent
Job Type: Full-time

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a reliable and hardworking Labourer to join their busy Bradford site on a temporary basis, with the opportunity to become permanent for the right person.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a hands-on role with regular daytime hours. Full training will be provided to the successful candidate.

The Role

As a Labourer, your responsibilities will include:

*

Cleaning and maintaining areas throughout the factory

*

Emptying general waste and recycling bins

*

Clearing scrap wood and other waste from the factory

*

Weighing scrap materials and sweeping factory areas

*

Clearing cardboard boxes from office areas

*

Baling waste cardboard

*

Emptying the shredding machine outside the offices

*

Helping with ad hoc duties, such as setting up furniture for presentations

*

Supporting other labourers and the wider team when required

*

Following all health and safety procedures at all times

About You

The successful candidate will:

Be reliable, hardworking and willing to get stuck in

Be capable of working unsupervised and use their own initiative

*

Be a team player and willing to support colleagues when required

*

Have good communication skills

*

Be flexible and willing to work overtime when required

*

Have a positive attitude and good work ethic

Full training will be provided for the right applicant, so previous experience is not essential.
