Hours of work: This role operates on a 3-week rotating shift schedule.

12 hour shift pattern, Days & Nights, 6:00 AM–6:00 PM and 6:00 PM–6:00 AM

* Week One - 3 Days

* Week Two - 3 Nights

* Week Three - 2 days & 2 Nights

Main Duties

* Operate the appropriate machinery to produce products of the required quality and within customers’ specifications.

* Constantly monitor output to ensure that it is of the standard required, rejecting any that does not meet the standards.

* Take appropriate corrective action to rectify problems as they may occur.

* Ensure all relevant information is accurately input into the company’s business system for shop floor data collection purposes

* Carry out the required QA testing to ensure the product meets customers’ requirements and strict specifications and accurately record results.

* Ensure the operation of the machinery remains within minimum waste, and quality rejects.

* Assist in the general preventative maintenance of the machine including cleaning of heads etc.

Specification

* Experience of a manufacturing environment essential

* IT Literate with experience of operating computer operated machines

* Good attention to detail and able to work to demanding deadlines

* Logical thinker with the ability to solve problems and work out solutions

* Good communicator and team player with an enthusiastic approach
