Land Biogeochemical Modeller
In this role, you will contribute to a large-scale international experiment project within the Earth System and Mitigation Science (ESMS) team, which aims to better understand and quantify how forests respond to increasing atmospheric CO2 concentrations.
Required:
Active SC Clearance
Conduct and evaluate experiments to determine how vegetation's reaction to CO2 affects current and future regional carbon sinks and ecosystems.
Knowledge and ability to run land models, preferably JULES-based setups
Knowledge and experience of climate model data.
