Land Surveyor

The Role

We are currently looking to appoint an Intermediate Land Surveyor to support a growing surveying team working on projects. This role would suit a surveyor who already has hands\-on site experience and is confident working independently on surveys, while still looking to develop technically and progress within a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out land and topographical surveys across a range of sites
  


• Working independently on site using Total Station and GPS/GNSS equipment
  


• Setting up survey control and completing accurate data capture
  


• Downloading, processing and checking survey data
  


• Producing or assisting with the production of survey drawings using AutoCAD
  


• Ensuring surveys are delivered accurately, on time and to specification
  


• Adhering to company health & safety procedures at all times
  


• Liaising with engineers, project managers and senior surveyors
  

Requirements

About You

• Previous experience in land or topographical surveying
  


• Confident using Total Station and GPS equipment without close supervision
  


• Experience producing or contributing to survey drawings
  


• Good understanding of site procedures and safe working practices
  



• Full UK driving licence
  
  

  Skills & Experience



• Background in Land Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering or similar
  


• Proficient or working knowledge of AutoCAD
  


• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  


• Able to manage own workload and site activities
  


• Good communication and teamwork skills
