The Role
We are currently looking to appoint an Intermediate Land Surveyor to support a growing surveying team working on projects. This role would suit a surveyor who already has hands\-on site experience and is confident working independently on surveys, while still looking to develop technically and progress within a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out land and topographical surveys across a range of sites
- Working independently on site using Total Station and GPS/GNSS equipment
- Setting up survey control and completing accurate data capture
- Downloading, processing and checking survey data
- Producing or assisting with the production of survey drawings using AutoCAD
- Ensuring surveys are delivered accurately, on time and to specification
- Adhering to company health & safety procedures at all times
- Liaising with engineers, project managers and senior surveyors
Requirements
About You
- Previous experience in land or topographical surveying
- Confident using Total Station and GPS equipment without close supervision
- Experience producing or contributing to survey drawings
- Good understanding of site procedures and safe working practices
Full UK driving licence
Skills & Experience
- Background in Land Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering or similar
- Proficient or working knowledge of AutoCAD
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Able to manage own workload and site activities
- Good communication and teamwork skills
