Landscape Operative

The Best Connection are proud to be recruiting multiple Landscape Operatives for our well-established client, who provide landscape maintenance and soft landscaping services to local authorities across Hampshire, Surrey, Sussex, and Kent, serving commercial, public, and private sectors.

Location: Horsham

Industry: Agriculture

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 5:00pm

Pay: £13 to £13.50 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities of Landscape Operative:

* Carry out general grounds maintenance including weeding, hedge cutting, pruning, and leaf clearance

* Undertake turfing, seeding, planting, and other soft landscaping duties

* Ensure all sites are maintained to a high standard, clean, and presentable

* Complete drain cleaning and graffiti removal where required

* Follow all health and safety regulations and company procedures

Requirements of Landscape Operative:

* Previous experience in grounds maintenance, gardening, or landscaping is desirable

* Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions

* Full UK driving licence is advantageous

* Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

* Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
