A Top 40 law firm is recruiting for a Large Loss Solicitor to join their Liverpool team.

Role Overview
An award-winning national firm, known for delivering complex, high-value insurance work, is seeking a Large Loss Solicitor to join its Manchester team. The successful candidate will support partners on catastrophic injury claims involving brain, spinal, amputation injuries, chronic pain, and fatality cases. The caseload spans motor, employer’s liability, public liability, and product liability claims, typically valued over £150,000. You’ll also have the opportunity to run your own files valued up to £500,000.

Candidate Profile / Experience Needed

• Circa 2+ years’ PQE in defendant personal injury litigation
• Experience managing or assisting on high-value or catastrophic injury cases
• Strong knowledge of EL/PL and RTA claims
• Familiarity with CPR procedures and rehabilitation protocols
• Confident in drafting reports, action plans, and client correspondence
• Comfortable attending court hearings, JSMs, and liaising with experts
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet chargeable targets
