Large Macro Hedge Fund - Reconciliations Lead

Leading global macro hedge fund is looking to hire an experienced Reconciliations lead in their London office with a proven reconciliation trade & cash processing background. They are very open to those working at a third party administrator, reconciliation vendor who can demonstrate a broad operations processing background with genuine cross product experience.

The role will be to assess the existing reconciliations function (cash and trade) and look for solutions to implement best practice and streamline the existing process. The succesfull candidate will bring a project / change mindset, be able to work with overseas offices and possess very good communications skills. You will also possess a proven risk and control mindset and be able to influence various stakeholders at all levels.

While this is a standalone role to start with, you will be working as part of a wider team (Globally) and the view would be to build out this function and subsequently run it.

It is likely that the candidate will have ran an operations / middle office function in the past and would have in excess of 7 years relevant experience. Though candidates with more or less experience may be considered.
