Laser Operator

My client, an Engineering company in the Stourport area is looking to recruit a Laser Operator on a Temp to Perm basis.

The main functions of the role include

- Set up an operate a CNC Laser Cutting Machine
- Be able to read Technical Drawings, blueprints and CAD Files
- Load and unload materials from machines
- Inspect finish parts for quality
- Monitor machine to ensure optimal performance
- Record production Data
- Follow H & S at all times

As a suitable candidate you will offer the following

- Previous experience as a Laser Operator, ideally have used Trumpf, Amada or Bystronic
- An ability to read and interpret Engineering Drawings
- Knowledge of Basic CNC programming
- Good Attention to detail
- an ability to lift materials up to 50lbs
- Some experience with CAD/CAM systems

The hours requires are Mon-Thurs 0700-1600 with a 1300 finish on Fridays

The pay-rate on offer is between £13.69 and £14.65, depending on relevant experience
