Location: Mansfield
Pay: £15.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Hours: 40 hours per week

Working Pattern:

* Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 4:30pm

* Friday: 7:00am – 3:30pm

We're recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Laser Operator to join a busy manufacturing facility based in the Mansfield area. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a permanent, full-time position with a company that values quality, teamwork and employee development.

The Role

As a Laser Operator, you'll be responsible for producing high-quality components while ensuring production runs efficiently and safely. You'll play an important part in meeting customer requirements by maintaining high standards throughout the manufacturing process.

Your Responsibilities

* Set up and operate CNC laser cutting equipment.

* Read and work from engineering drawings and job specifications.

* Load raw materials and remove finished components from the machine.

* Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.

* Monitor machine performance and report any faults or maintenance requirements.

* Work to production schedules and meet daily output targets.

* Follow all health and safety procedures and keep your work area clean and organised.

What We're Looking For

* Previous experience operating laser cutting machinery is essential.

* Ability to understand and interpret engineering drawings.

* Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.

* Good problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.

* Reliable, punctual and able to work well within a manufacturing team.
