We are currently recruiting for an experienced Laser Operator to join a busy metal sheet fabrication environment in Nuneaton.

Shift: Monday – Thursday, 9:00pm – 7:30am
Pay: £15.00 – £16.00 per hour
Type: Temp to Perm 

🛠️ The RoleWorking Monday to Thursday on a 9:00pm – 7:30am night shift, you will be responsible for:

Operating laser cutting machinery within a metal sheet fabrication environment

Loading and unloading sheet metal and materials from the machines

Setting and operating machinery safely and efficiently

Carrying out quality checks on finished components

Ensuring products meet required specifications and quality standards

Performing basic maintenance and routine checks on the machinery

Reporting any faults or issues with the equipment

Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Following all health & safety and production procedures

👷 About You

The ideal candidate will have:

Previous experience operating laser cutting machinery

Experience within metal sheet fabrication or a similar manufacturing environment

Good attention to detail and a strong focus on quality

The ability to work independently during night shifts

A reliable and hardworking attitude

Basic mechanical knowledge and the ability to carry out routine machine maintenance
