Are you an experienced Laser Operative looking to join a successful and growing sheet metal manufacturing business? A leading precision manufacturing company based in Derby is seeking a skilled Laser Operative to join their dynamic team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Laser Operative with flat bed laser experience who is looking for long-term career progression and continuous development.
Shift Details:

4 on, 4 off day shift pattern
6:00am – 6:00pm
Weekend work included as part of the shift rotation
Immediate start availablePay & Benefits:

Salary of £32,500 per annum

Operate flat bed laser cutting machinery within a busy manufacturing environment
Ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining high quality standards
Read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions
Carry out quality inspections of finished components
Support production across different areas where required
Maintain a safe, clean and organised work areaRequirements:

3-5 years' experience operating flat bed laser machinery
Previous experience working within sheet metal manufacturing
Experience working shift patterns
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment
Willingness to learn new skills and develop within the business
A dual-skilled individual who can support multiple areas of production is highly desirable
A stable work history with evidence of commitment and longevity in previous rolesThe successful Laser Operative will enjoy working in a high-pressure manufacturing environment and take pride in producing quality work.
