Laser Operators Assistant (With progression)

Job title: Operator’s Assistant (with progression)
Department: Production
Reporting to: Foreman and Production Manager
Hours of work: 3 Shift Pattern (6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm and 10pm-6am) Sundays Nights worked rather than Friday Nights- Night shift only)
The Candidate: The successful candidate will be a proactive individual with an eagerness to help and progress with multidiscipline Laser Cutting equipment across the shop floor. They will be in direct contact with customer orders and will contribute to the high level of quality and service we provide.

General Responsibilities and Requirements:

* Loading material onto machines

* Unloading cut parts and scrap material

* Marking up parts

* Grinding/Cleaning up of parts

* Quality Assurance

* General housekeeping and some heavy lifting required.

* Assisting operators with the cutting and management of customer orders.

Experience a preference but not essential, ideally the candidate will possess a valid Fork Lift Truck licence with Overhead Crane experience but again not essential. Should a candidate not possess these, training is for both available in house.

Successful candidates will be given the opportunity to progress to various machine operating roles with all necessary training provided by the company.
