Job Description

We are currently recruiting for reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operatives to join a busy food distribution warehouse on a late shift.

The successful candidates will be working across ambient, chilled and frozen environments, ensuring food products are picked, packed and prepared accurately for distribution.

This is a physically demanding role within a fast-paced warehouse environment, requiring a good level of fitness, attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

Picking and packing food products accurately against customer orders.

Working across ambient, chilled and frozen warehouse areas.

Loading and unloading deliveries where required.

Preparing orders for dispatch and distribution.

Checking stock for accuracy, quality and damage.

Moving and handling stock safely throughout the warehouse.

Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised working environment.

Following all food hygiene and health and safety procedures.

Meeting daily picking targets and productivity requirements.

Supporting other warehouse duties as required.

Requirements

Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not essential.

Comfortable working in chilled and frozen environments.

Physically fit and capable of manual handling duties.

Reliable, punctual and hardworking.

Good attention to detail and accuracy.

Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Flexible approach to duties and workload.

Able to reliably commute to and from work for the 2:00am finish.

Working Hours & Pay

Shift: 5:00pm - 2:00am

Hourly Rate: £14.00 per hour
