Laundry Assistant

PAY: £12.23 PER HOUR

JOB TYPES: Permanent

SCHEDULE:

• 7.00am - 7.30pm
• 2 days a week (24 hours)
• Alternate Weekends
• 12 hours shift

• Practical working knowledge of food hygiene (training provided)
• Excellent time keeping
• Stock Control Experience

The Role

• To maintain tidiness and organisation of the laundry, ensuring all residents’ clothes are appropriately laundered and returned to residents.
• To report any defect of the laundry equipment to the senior member of staff on duty
• To ensure a regular supply of detergent
• To ensure that soiled and infectious linen is kept separate and washed accordingly
• To keep the laundry room and store area tidy, clean and hygienic
• Adhere to policies and procedures within the Home
