Laundy Operative (Evening Shift)

We currently wish to recruit for a Full Time Laundry Operative in our Primary Factory to assist with the efficient running of the Laundry Department. This role is full-time Monday to Friday (4pm – 10.30pm or 3pm – 9:30pm).

• Ensure all communal areas and amenity blocks are kept clean and tidy and compliant with SOPs
• Sort, wash, store and distribute laundry.
• Issue PPE
• Monitor stock levels of laundry chemicals, soap, sanitizer, toilet paper and towels
• Use cleaning chemicals as instructed and in a safe manner.
• Ensure all factory PPE is washed, dried, and prepared each evening, so it is fully ready for the next morning’s production
• Use, handle and store cleaning chemicals safely and strictly as instructed.
• Maintain clean communication with the Laundry Manager, reporting daily progress, stock shortages or equipment issues.

• Organized and self-motivated to ensure all jobs are completed on time;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Experience in a commercial laundry, factory, or professional cleaning environment is highly valued, but not essential. Full training will be provided.
• Ability to work on your own
• The ability to work to tight deadlines;
• Flexible and able to work overtime as and when required to meet factory demands;
• The ability to maintain and improve on our high levels of hygiene
• Strong time-management and prioritization skills
