The Role
You will manage your own caseload across a broad range of private client matters, including:
Wills and estate planning. Trusts. Probate and estate administration. Lasting Powers of Attorney. Court of Protection matters. Advising elderly and vulnerable clients. Care fees planning.Working closely with colleagues and supported by an experienced secretary, you will provide outstanding client care while building strong relationships with both new and existing clients.
You will also play an active role in the continued growth of the department by participating in networking and business development activities, while maintaining your professional development through ongoing training.
About You
To be considered for this opportunity, you will have:
Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive status. A minimum of five years' post-qualification experience (PQE) in Private Client law. Experience managing a broad private client caseload independently. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. A compassionate, client-focused approach. The ability to work effectively as part of a supportive team.Experience in the following areas would be highly desirable:
Care funding and care home fee planning. NHS Continuing Healthcare funding. Challenging Local Authority funding assessments.Benefits
