As an LCL Import Operator, your responsibilities will include:

Manage the day to day running of allocated LCL import trades
Book shipments accurately in line with pre-alerts, liaising directly with clients where needed
Check arrival and devan dates, keeping clients updated throughout
Ensure customs documentation is accurate and complete for clearance
Liaise with suppliers and hauliers to ensure smooth cargo delivery
Invoice and cost files correctly, protecting profit margins
As an LCL Import Operator, your experience will include:

Previous experience within freight forwarding or logistics
Familiarity with LCL import processes and documentation
Confidence liaising with clients, hauliers, and customs departments
A proactive, can-do approach with strong problem-solving skills
Comfortable working as part of a close, collaborative team
