LCV Technician

My Client who are a distributor of commercial vehicles are looking for an LGV Technician to join them on a permanent basis. (40 hours, 6am-14:30/13:30 - 22:00) Monday - Friday - Overtime paid at time and a half

You will help keep their customers vehicles on the road, via quality, safe and compliant maintenance.

Day to day you will be:

• Performing major and minor repairs to Mercedes Benz vehicles
• Performing regular inspection and general maintenance services
• Maintaining inventory in the workshop and cleanliness from oils spills and dust
• Working with repair teams to help diagnose and plan repairs for the vehicles
• Maintaining records of vehicles that have been repaired, using all appropriate modules of keyloop/kerridge
• Carry out wheel alignment and tyre fitting

Skills required for this role:

• You will need to be level 3 (NVQ or City and Guilds or IMI Qualificaiton) in LCV Vehcile repair and maintenance (please still apply if you don't hold this qualification but have the hands on experience)
• Ability to identify worn and faulty components in accordance with the DVSA standards
• Have a full UK driving license for the relevant vehicle classes
