Strategically partnering with the SafeContractor Divisional Inside Sales function, the Sales Coach ensures every sales representative has the skills, knowledge and end to end process awareness to maximise every customer and prospect interaction in the most impactful way.
Working as part of the divisional people team, and alongside sales team managers and lead roles, the Sales Enablement coach will support in the training of new sales people into the Sales Academy and provide ongoing coaching, for both new joins and existing team members.
This role is being offered on a fixed term contract for 14 months to cover a period of maternity leave.
What that means day to day
Support with setting new joins up for success and the continued development of existing team members with a view to improving time to effectiveness, and increasing performance and productivity.
Employ a variety of methods within the sales academy, including delivery of sales skills and process training, role play, call listening and call coaching.
Support with the selection and interview of new Sales team members.
Support the team with setting themselves up for daily / weekly / monthly success, including how to organize day, managing documents, CRM platform, review calls, and use of tools such as talk track and client lists.
Support line manager in reinforcing expectations including call volumes and sales per day.
Support in the upkeep of Sales Academy learning and development material, develop and deliver new content as required to support business changes.
Take ownership of scheduling, communication, delivery, following up and measurement of all relevant Sales Academy programs.
Contribute to any document library to ensure inside sales teams have easy access to up-to-date information.
Stay informed about methodology, tools and technology that may be used to improve sales productivity.
Linking with line manager and people team to raise concerns and provide ongoing support around performance and behavioiral issues.
What you’ll need to be successful
To be successful in this role, you will be a natural coach and motivator with demonstrable knowledge of sales methodologies and customer engagement. You will need successful experience within an inside sales role, with experience of adults learning / training / coaching. You will need to be highly organised, with strong presentation and communication skills. You will have experience in managing stakeholder expectations, with a high level of personal resilience.
