Lead Associate

Job Title: IT Sourcing LeadHours: Full Time (35 Hours Per Week)£800 Per Day
About your new company:Our client is an independent regulatory body in the United Kingdom responsible for ensuring the financial markets work well for consumers and the economy, promoting market integrity and effective competition.
Your new role:As a Sourcing Lead, you will be responsible for developing and delivering sourcing and contracting strategies across complex, strategic categories, ensuring innovative, value-for-money solutions. You will lead risk-sensitive procurement activities, including RFx, negotiations, and contracting, in compliance with FCA policies and regulations. You will demonstrate strong market insight and commercial acumen, aligning procurement objectives with long-term business needs and promote FCA procurement systems, ensuring all projects meet internal standards and strategic goals.

• You will be working 5 days across 35 hours per week
• Hybrid working policy (40% office based per week)
• Pay rate at £800 Per Day

What we're looking for?

• Membership of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (MCIPS) or equivalent (i.e., World CC) or willingness to work towards gaining an appropriate level of qualification.
• Experience in delivering end-to-end procurement processes
• Experience of working within the Public Contracts Regulations and delivering procurement under various routes to market
• Knowledge using procurement purchasing systems - Workday/Atamis desirable
