37 hours per week The Role This role is an exciting and integral part of Devon and Cornwall and Dorset Polices newly established Automation Team. This team enables them to have a hub to develop a digital workforce (automation) to create additional capacity whilst realising technological, operational and reputational priorities, delivering benefits for both Forces. The Lead Automation Developer will lead on the building of automations which will improve ability of staff in both Forces to react & adapt quickly to demand changes, removing repetitive processes, human error and improves compliance . Specifically, the Lead Automation Developer will use their specialised skills to deliver more complex automations and quality assure the work of the Automation Developers. Key responsibilities will include: Strategic Design: Spearhead the architectural design of automation solutions, ensuring comprehensive documentation aligns with the project lifecycle.
