Working Pattern:
Permanent / Full Time
As the
Lead Control & Instrumentation Designer (C
&
I)
, you will
L
ead a team of designers and coordinating work tasks to achieve required plan dates or be a senior / principal engineer looking for a step up in their career.
Have great safety awareness and culture in all modifications involved in.
Provid
e
o
wnership, Input, and guidance in the fundamentals of Control and Instrumentation design.
Be t
echnically competent in own discipline and actively
maintains
own competence according to standards and pursues continuous professional development.
Have e
xperience in producing,
checking,
and approving deliverables that conform to all applicable industry engineering codes and standards as well as the clients policies and procedures
relative
to the equipment being specified. Sound knowledge of relevant commonly used codes therefore
required
.
Have
the u
nderstanding and ability to interpret system Process and Instrument Diagrams, fabrication drawings and schematics is essential.

hybrid working 3 days in the office with flexibility to work from home for 2 days.
About You
Youll
have experience of:
O
n/offshore FEED and detailed design Control and Instrumentation surveys and sourcing technical understanding. (Preferred but not essential)
Control and Instrumentation design experience (Oil & Gas preferred but not essential) in delivery of Control and Instrumentation projects.

Demonstrable Experience and Knowledge in Control system modification, particularly on the wiring interfaces between field instruments and between systems

UCPs
Demonstrable Experience and Knowledge in vendor liaison of all the systems vendors noted above.
O
ffshore and onshore
oil &
gas business but similar transferrable industries skills will be also considered in leu of specific O&G experience.
CE/ATEX and UKCA knowledge is essential.
Demonstrable Experience and Knowledge in Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality systems.

Qualifications
HND in relevant engineering discipline
/ HNC in relevant engineering discipline
Conversant in most common Microsoft Office applications
Having offshore BOSIET, MIST and medical are preferred for the role with experience of site surveys.
