Salary: Basic up to £40,000 plus Benefits

Location: Rawtenstall, Lancashire

Our client, a precision engineering sub-contractor is looking for a Lead CNC Miller Programmer to join their organisation in Rawtenstall, Lancashire. The Lead CNC Miller Programmer will be responsible for setting, programming and operating a variety of CNC Milling machines, supporting high-quality production in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for setting, programming and operating 3-, 4- and 5- axis CNC machines, programme directly from technical drawings and carry out quality inspections on finished components.

Skills required for an Lead CNC Miller Programmer:

• Recognised Apprenticeship or equivalent time-served experience in CNC precision engineering.
• Proven experience operating 3-, 4- and 5- axis CNC milling machines.
• Skilled in reading and interpreting technical engineering drawings.
• Experience machining a variety of materials including steel, brass, bronze, aluminum and plastics.
• Experience with offline programming systems (e.g. OneCNC, AutoCAD, or similar).
• Confident with Computer Systems used in modern engineering environments.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team with strong communication skills.
• Able to follow technical instructions with precision.
• Proactive and willing to learn new technologies and systems.
