£22 per hour | 48 Hours per week (including weekends)

Our client, a warm and welcoming nursing home, is looking for a Lead Dementia Nurse to provide outstanding care and clinical leadership within their dedicated dementia unit. 

As a Lead Dementia Nurse, you will take charge of clinical care within the dementia unit, ensuring that residents receive the highest standard of person-centred support. This role requires a strong clinical leader with a passion for dementia care, the ability to mentor and guide a team, and a commitment to fostering a positive and enriching environment for residents.

What We’re Looking For

• RGN qualification

  with experience in dementia care and strong clinical skills – RMN applicants with dementia experience and clinical training are welcome to apply

• Valid UK NMC Pin

• Excellent leadership and communication skills

• A compassionate, patient-focused approach

• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality clinical care tailored to the needs of residents with dementia

• Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the care team

• Ensure compliance with CQC standards and best practices in dementia care

• Administer medication safely and oversee care planning

• Build strong relationships with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams

• Champion dignity, independence, and well-being for all residents
