Do you dribbble when you sleep? Does the thought of giving up your Mac for a PC make you shudder with fear? Well wake up buddy because have we got the perfect job for you!

This is your chance to use your design and creative flair to shape our brands from the bottom up. This isn’t an agency job, this is better. From our internal branding through to websites visited by tens of thousands of people every day, you’ll put your stamp on everything our customers and staff see. We know our design is below par at the moment, we need you to help us change that.

We’re looking for a Lead Designer to help take our brands to an all new level by designing websites, print and marketing materials that will blow our customers minds.

Interested? Read on, but first let me tell you who we’re NOT looking for…

·         Photoshop noobs thinking they ‘do web design’. We’ll spot you a mile off, don’t embarrass yourself.

·         Developers who think they can do design as well. Sorry, if you’ve spent half your time doing development, you’ll only be half the designer we need you to be.

Want this job? You’ll need these…

·         Ninja-like Photoshop (and other creative suite) skills.

You’ll know Photoshop inside-out. You’ll baffle and astound us with your knowledge of this amazing product and know how to achieve any effect, shape or texture.

·         A hawk’s eye for detail

You’ll want every pixel to be perfect. You’ll know what works and what doesn’t. You’ll have a portfolio of amazing designs you’ve done to prove it.

·         Process for design

You’ll know how to take creative ideas and turn them into workable design solutions. You’ll know what responsive design is, how it works and how to wireframe and design for it.

·         Creative and imaginative mind

Great brands start with great minds. You’ll be able to work with our branding and marketing experts to think of amazing ideas and produce designs to bring them to fruition.

·         Ambitious and hungry (not that kind of hungry!)

You’ll want to take your career as a designer to the highest level. We’ll help you get there, but you’ve got show us you want it.

The Ed Group provides great financial products both online and by phone. We’ve been trading since 2003 and are one of the UK’s fastest-growing companies. From a standing start we achieved a turnover of £9.7 million in our 4th year with only 7 staff. We have now grown the company to 70 members of staff through the worst recession in living memory.
