What you'll do:
You will be responsible for guiding the teams dedicated to delivering innovative solutions within Dynamics 365 CRM. Ensuring that your team adheres to industry-leading practices such as CI/CD pipelines and test-driven development. You will play an instrumental role in managing both people and projects-motivating your direct reports, overseeing recruitment efforts to build a well-rounded team, identifying training needs, and implementing strategies for continuous improvement.

• Direct the activities of a multi-disciplinary development team using an Agile, iteration-based approach to maximise effectiveness and ensure successful project outcomes.
• Maintain high levels of motivation within your team by providing clear guidance, performance management, and identifying training or development needs as they arise.
• Oversee the technical development of IT changes and projects, ensuring code quality through best practices such as Continuous Integration (CI/CD) and test-driven development.
• Request and review development approaches for project work, ensuring documentation is created and maintained appropriately throughout the process.
• Recruit new team members as needed, building a cohesive and balanced group that works collaboratively towards shared goals.
• Identify and implement departmental efficiency improvements that enhance productivity without adding unnecessary administrative overhead.
• Ensure all development projects are delivered on time, meet business requirements, fulfil end-user needs, and comply with audit controls.
• Work closely with business analysts to maintain robust processes that provide evidence for audit controls while minimising red tape.
• Define the toolset used by the development function and manage the deployment of new applications or enhancements across the organisation.
• Coach project teams in development standards and best practice, reviewing techniques used for all types of software development.

What you bring:
You will bring substantial hands-on experience designing customised solutions with C#, TypeScript, Power Platform tools such as Power Pages or Power Apps. Your background includes utilising .NET technologies within Agile environments-ideally leveraging Azure DevOps for streamlined workflows.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines is essential for ensuring efficient software releases; similarly valuable is your ability to handle complex data migrations or integrations involving third-party platforms.

Familiarity with service-oriented architecture enables you to contribute effectively towards building scalable enterprise applications. Strong communication skills are vital as you interact with diverse stakeholders-from internal staff to external suppliers-delivering presentations confidently using suitable methods. • Familiarity with service-oriented architecture principles when building scalable enterprise applications using modern frameworks like TypeScript.
