This is an excellent Lead Developer position, working for an innovative MedTech company with a growing reputation in their field. Working in a full-stack capacity, but with a back end focus, the Lead Developer will be the focal point of the team and will use their knowledge across Python, cloud technologies (AWS), databases, Kubernetes, Terraform and microservice architecture to design and build key platforms for the business, that utilise Machine Learning and AI to analyse complex medical imaging data, whilst mentoring and leading more jnuior Developers.

The Lead Developer will join an innovative Machine Learning MedTech company with offices in both Oxford and London. The Lead Developer will contribute to a supportive team environment, which rewards hard work and innovative thinking. They offer hybrid working, with up to 4 days a week working from home.

What’s Required?

The Ideal candidate for the role will have some of the following:

• Solid skills in Python development. The role has a back end focus, but experience of working across the full stack is required
• Strong cloud experience with AWS
• Experience ideally, of both Kubernetes and Terraform
• An understanding or experience within Microservice Architecture or within a microservices environment
• Whilst medical device experience would be ideal, experience gained from working in other regulated industries that require documentation would be applicable
• Experience of developing applications that process complex data such as imaging or video, especially those that have an ML or AI component would be highly beneficial
