Lead Early Years Educator

Link3 Recruitment is currently looking for a (Lead) Early Years Educator at a well-established early years setting in DY4 Tipton. This is an excellent opportunity to join a passionate, child-focused team in a nurturing environment that values your professional growth.

Responsibilities:

You will:

• Provide a safe, welcoming, and stimulating environment where every child can thrive
• Support children’s learning and development through purposeful play and planned activities
• Observe, assess, and document each child’s progress in line with the EYFS framework
• Build strong relationships with children, parents, and carers as a key person
• Promote inclusive practice and safeguard the welfare of all children
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to continuously improve practice and provision

Also/or:

• Lead curriculum planning, ensuring activities meet children’s individual needs
• Mentor and support team members to ensure consistent, high-quality practice
• Take responsibility for the setting in the absence of management
• Monitor and evaluate learning outcomes and staff performance
• Build strong partnerships with families, supporting children’s transitions and development
• Actively contribute to improvement plans and audits

Requirements:

• A Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification (DfE full and relevant)
• A strong understanding of child development and the EYFS framework
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A nurturing, enthusiastic, and reflective approach to working with children
• An up-to-date understanding of safeguarding and child protection

• Proven experience in a senior or lead role within an early years setting
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• A positive, proactive attitude and the ability to motivate others
